Super Veg (A+B) is used in the early stages to promote the lush vegetative growth plants need. The nutrients in Super Veg are caclulated specifically for this stage. Super Bloom (A+B) is used after Super Veg stage to promote maximum budding and flowering. The nutrients in Super Bloom are dialed-in specifcally for this stage.

The manufacturer of Super Nutrients designed the product to a be an all-in-one system that can be used throughout the entire grow cycle. The two-product, two-part system contains all necessary macro and micro-nutrients and is naturally pH-balanced. While it is encouraged to buy the whole system for maximum efficiency, consistency, and results - there is no requirement - other than to purchase/use the A and B together for one or both of the products (i.e., Super Veg SV-A and SV-B and/or Super Bloom SB-A and SB-B).

Super Nutrients (Super Bloom A/B, Super Veg A/B) are currently available in 2.5 Gallon and 5 Gallon sizes only. Prior to 2025, Super Nutrients was produced in additional sizes, including Quarts, Gallons, and 55-Gallon drums (SBA/SBB only). The manufacturer permanently phased out Quarts and 55-gallons last year and has concentrated on the two most popular sizes to maximize efficiency. The manufacturer has indicated a potential return to 1-gallon sizes if demand calls for it. The price of the 2.5 gallon size was reduced to accommodate customers who previously purchased in gallon sizes.

Simply put, to reduce potential volatility with the ingredients of the A and B for both Super Veg and Super Bloom they are separated. The mixing instructions indicate the proper method of adding product A to water, then mixing in product B.
